Harlequin

METAMORPHOSIS COLLECTION - HARLEQUIN LOOKBOOK

The name Harlequin is taken from that of a mischievous "devil" or "demon" character in popular French passion plays. The first known appearance on stage of Hellequin is dated to 1262, the character of a masked and hooded devil in Jeu da la Feuillière. This eventually evolved into the Harlequin depicted as a stock comedic character adoring an elegantly designed masked, dressed in multicolored, diamond-patterned tights, and carrying a wooden sword or magic wand. Get a little mischievous with our Harlequin line.
